Why 1:1 lessons are the best choice

Since the lessons are private (1:1), preparation can be completed within 4–6 weeks, allowing for a fast-paced syllabus designed to get students ready to take the GMAT Focus Edition in a short amount of time. Unlike group lessons, private lessons are one-on-one, allowing the instructor to tailor the instruction to each student’s unique needs and learning style. Additionally, since private lessons are conducted entirely online, students can learn from the comfort of their own homes. The instructor can also customize the number and type of homework exercises and examples to ensure that each student thoroughly understands each concept before progressing to the next section.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is one of the most well-known exams for admission to graduate programs, primarily in business-related fields (such as MBA, MSc in Finance, MSc in Management, etc.) at prestigious universities in the world. It is the primary admission criterion for MBA programs and is required by more than 2,000 universities worldwide. Furthermore, many universities offer scholarships to students who achieve high scores on the GMAT.

The GMAT is used by universities to objectively evaluate candidates, regardless of their educational background. Since grades can vary significantly from one country to another or even between universities, the GMAT provides a common benchmark for comparison. For example, in one institution, it might be extremely difficult to achieve high grades, while in another, grades might be awarded more generously. If universities relied solely on undergraduate grades, there would be a risk of unfairness toward candidates from more demanding institutions. The GMAT helps universities better understand the true abilities of applicants, ensuring a fair evaluation process.

The GMAT is a challenging test that requires significant study and preparation, largely because of its adaptive nature. Specifically, the test’s algorithm works as follows: it begins with medium-difficulty questions and, based on the test-taker’s answers, the subsequent questions become either more difficult or easier. This requires candidates to not only possess knowledge but also adopt a strategic approach to tackling the exam.

GMAT exam results are available immediately after completing the test. As soon as you finish, you can view your score on the spot, giving you an instant understanding of your performance. Additionally, on the same day, once you return home, you can send your results directly to the universities of your choice.

The total GMAT score ranges from 205 to 805, with most universities typically requiring a score around 605 for their graduate programs. The score remains valid for five years, providing candidates with flexibility to decide when they want to begin their studies.

The GMAT and GRE have a similar structure but differ in content and focus. The GMAT consists of Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights sections, emphasizing data analysis and business-oriented thinking. In contrast, the GRE includes Quantitative, Verbal, and Writing sections, with a greater focus on language skills and analytical writing. While the GMAT is primarily preferred by business schools, the GRE is accepted by a broader range of graduate programs. Learn more about GRE preparation here.
